Try Skin So Soft. That stuff works awesome, plus you smell like a flower.

My wife buys it all online and it's pretty cheap compared to the stuff at Walgreens/CVS, etc.. They even send you loads of free stuff like body wash and other things.

...Harris County officials say there are more mosquitoes in the area, but they won't be spraying unless a disease such as West Nile surfaces, or an emergency such as a hurricane or tropical storm develops, said Sandy Kachur, spokeswoman for the county's public health and environmental services department. The county does not spray for pest control, she said.

    WTF ?!?!?!?!

Is it as bad as it was when Allison hit? That would surprise me.

But geez, I remember being told when I moved that Minnesota was really bad with mosquitoes, but I've barely noticed them. Really, the worst thing about Houston - you can get used to the heat, but not to those evil bastards.

this is the worst i can remember. it's a pain to just carry groceries in the house. you can't even enjoy the beautiful weather for 30 seconds.

Still sounds like after Allison to me, I'll admit. But back then the federal government did spray, even if they said it wasn't a health threat, just because of how frustrating it was . I'm shocked that Harris wouldn't spray if it really is that bad.
