I wonder if Carson likes Vince Young's sausage.

I watch Sportscenter about 5 times/year and especially avoid commentary about the NBA and NFL. I don't love ESPN's talking heads any more than you do. Trust me on that. So don't lump me into some ESPN agenda against Al Davis just because of an opinion you don't like. Seymour is a proven stud and the main question was how long he would stay in Oakland. He re-signed and the Raiders are better for it. Palmer is a giant question mark who could end up leading your team nowhere. This will surprise you, but I want the Raiders to win the division instead of the Chargers; this year and the foreseeable future.

The drafting comment was a just poke. You've really dialed up your emotions on the Raiders this year. Calm down and don't take comments so much to heart. You've poked the Texans a lot this year, so don't dish it out if you can't take it.

From one "armchair" to another: Yes, I have doubts about Palmer and the Raiders making the playoffs. If they do, good for you.

jus asking...."one armchair to another " would imply that they're both retired right?... No disrespect to my elders BTW

He's supposed to play this Sunday. So we'll see how the stud looks.

Ruh roh, two years after his injury and he still can't make 'high velocity throws'.
    _____

The Raiders are reportedly no longer planning to start Carson Palmer because they're concerned with his ability to make "high-velocity throws" in a live, game setting after just three practices.

"I'm 95 percent sure he is not going to play," a source close to the situation told ESPN's Adam Schefter. "Practicing Wednesday and Thursday, he felt he's not ready to make those high-velocity throws yet. Maybe they could decide something at the last minute, but I don't think he's going to play."

If he's not ready to go, this trade is looking worse and worse by the week.

I don't think is about the injury - it's about the fact that he had no training camp and hasn't played football in 10 months. The original plan was not to start him until the bye week - that lets him learn their system and get familiar with the team. It seemed a bit ambitious to trade for a QB that hasn't been playing and start him 4 or 5 days later.

Yes, I was being a bit dramatic, but Saunders did say 'if he's breathing he will start'.

Sounds like the Raiders gave away two picks for Case McCoy.
