    You could also say he was responsible for the best years since the championships, since he acquired Yao and McGrady. Morey's been trying to trade for a star ever since he got here, while CD did it multiple times.

    true but CD got stars post-prime.

    barkley, pippen, drexler... all past their primes when we got them. not to mention we lacked depth on those aged teams.

    those last few years were brutal.
