Allright I know its very early in the season but after getting to see the Wizards play of late, you kinda' knew this topic and talk would start up eventually. For once, the Wiz arent the NBA's doormat to the nation's capital and its tourist attractions. Now there slapping everyone silly with that doormat. They crushed Beantown and just when you thought Robert Horry struck again, Stack had other ideas. Now I know that the Celts arent that good since they made that stupid trade fro Vin Baker and the Late Show is without its big star (SHAQ), but still the Wiz have been really suprising of late, and the east appears to be wide open. Anyone appears to have a shot at this point so far. So what do you guys think; could MJ make it back to the finals with the Wiz to face his former coach???
The east is a crap shoot. Its impossible to figure out who will make it. I think NJ, Indiana, and Washington probably have the best chance though.
Charlotte might win more home games this year... I really don't get Charlotte. They seem to be the deepest East team, and a pretty decent West team if they were in the west, but come playoff time, they're 2nd round material. Totally disappointing...
Well, this is a solid prediction, seeing as there's 74 games left, or thereabouts, for both teams. I sincerely doubt the Wiz have what it takes to get to the finals, especially with the way Indiana is looking and also Orlando. We shall see.
The Charlotte team has moved to New Orleans Also, like HOOP-T said, Orlando has a good a chance as anyone. I'm looking forward to when Orlando play NJ to see who will come out on top. Just as a side note: first game of the season, Rocks lose to Indiana and most see it as the end of the world that we were beaten by a "fringe" playoff team, yet they have only lost one game and are (I think) second see in the East at the moment. Just thought I would mention that...
