This thread makes me never want to go to SLC even more than I never wanted to go there before.

You want more food suggestions? I didn't want to give too many.

I'd also highly recommend Gandolfos for sandwiches. There are a number of them around town and super good. Great for breakfast, too. http://www.gandolfosdeli.com/

For pizza, check out The Pie Pizzeria - Underground, which is very close to the University of Utah campus. The restaurant is actually downstairs in the basement. It's a pretty fun place and the food is great. http://www.thepie.com/

If you like Greek, Aristo's is also near the University and very good. http://www.aristosrestaurant.com/

For a great German deli, checkout out Siegfreid's Deli in downtown. http://www.siegfriedsdelicatessen.biz/

On Sunday, you could drive down to the Sundance ski resort for Sunday Brunch, which is very nice and delicious.

For fancy French food in a romantic cottage setting, try La Caille.

    Should I go on?

You may also want to check out the Tavernacle, which is a piano bar with karaoke and dueling piano entertainment.
