I heard that the Jets will not pay Brandon Edwards because they were tracking Aso, so now they have the money to go for him.

But they still lost Brad Smith.

Imagine no smith, no edwards, they would only have one good WR.

and Asante, Rogers-Cromartie and Aso, looks very scary.

I asked Belichick directly if Haynesworth passed the conditioning test. BB didn't answer, said Haynesworth isn't ready to practice.

    per twitter...

    gotta love it! :grin::grin::grin: lol

Man it is going to be tough to beat the Eagles this year with all their additions. Now add Cullen Jenkins to the list.

As a Cowboy fan it might be another long season. The only good 'Boys fans can have is that there might not be enough money to sign Vick and Jackson.

There goes any chance of watching the Texans in primetime come flex scheduling.

The Eagles front office are masters at the salary cap. I wouldn't be surprised to see Samuel dealt but it's not a gimme. You have to remember the Eagles were $14 million under the cap BEFORE letting their free agents walk. That probably freed up a lot more there. Roseman and Banner (GM AND President) were asked a little while ago if the Eagles had the flexibilty to add more players. Banner's response: "oh hell yeah."

Signing Vick to a contract will actually give them more cap space....
Without Kolb to build around, they got to get something out of the few years of Vick.

Oh well, let the NFC deal with them.

With so much talent everywhere else, you would think Philly would want more stability at the QB position.

Vick is injury prone and V. Young is a headcase.

Vick isn't anymore injury prone than McNabb was. They just need to add a piece to that line for protection to keep him upright and keep him from having to scramble. That was/is one of his biggest injury factors, the fact that he runs but with added protection and the fact he looks to pass first, I think that would help keep him off the injury list.

I think Reid and co. will do a good job with Young as well, as I've pointed out, they know how to coach the position.

Say what you will, Vick is a potential MVP and VY is a winner.

Eagles have traded DT Broderick Bunkley to Cleveland for 5th round pick and have signed LB Akeem Jordan to a 1 year deal.

When GM Howie Roseman was asked if the Eagles would continue to make moves he stated "I think you should stay tuned."

Oh I don't doubt it...unfortunately as a 'Boys fan this is only of the few things we can hope for since our GM likes to spend big dollars on unproductive players. See all of our veteren cuts.

Since the Eagles are now referring to themselves as the "Dream Team" we can also hope they choke like the Heat:grin:

Seriously though Pun good luck to you this year. I know you must be excited since your team is a legit threat instead of my train wreck team playing in the Death Star. But I will continue to watch and scream at the TV when they suck because I am just ready for some football.
