What the hell are you talking about? This is not anything like The Polar Express. Zemeckis just doesn't know how to use CGI properly. This is how you should use CGI.

I'm a big fan of Tintin and Asterix and Obelix. I'm so happy that Spielberg and Peter Jackson going with CGI. I knew something like this would happen after the success of Avatar with it's amazing break through with facial animation capture. This look fantastic and the music by John Williams should be icing on the cake.

True, and maybe as they do more production it will look better but as another poster noted it looks kind of creepy. It seems to me like Rockstar games presents Tintin in Vice City than a lovable children's book brought to the big screen.

This movie looks horrible. I got all the information I needed just from just the teaser trailer. What a joke of a movie.

The tv show used to come on Nickelodeon when I was young.

And then one afternoon, my dad looks up at the tv and said, they used to show this when I was a kid, but it was in French.

If plus-fours become acceptable to wear off the golf course because of this movie I'll tip my hat off to him. They're so much more practical than cargo shorts because the ends don't catch on objects or your knees.
