PS - I think this is gonna be a fantastic series. If Boozer plays like he did yesterday throughout the series, then the Bulls can definitely pull it out. Otherwise, I think the Heat have the SLIGHT upper hand.

This should be a great series. People are writing off the Bulls the same way they wrote off the Celtics in '08 (who, like the Bulls, had the best record in the NBA, somewhat struggled in their first few rounds, and ended up facing the prohibitive favorites). The Heat really have no counter to the big Bulls front court and over a long series that could take a toll. I voted Heat in 6 but it won't be a shocker either way.

carlos boozer is 6'8...matched up against a 6'10 bosh, anthony is 6'9 matched up against a 6'11 noah...seems like a wash to me

I'm not talking so much height as physicality. The Bulls play very physical defense by committee, led by Noah. Gibson, Deng, and (shockingly) Boozer also contribute to this defense. If Bosh can play his game and use his length to overcome the frontcourt abuse, that'll be a big help for the Heat.

the big man the heat fear most is asik. that guy is a shut down monster. he might get more than 20+ minutes b/c he's their best overall defensive big man.

Yeah, he uses his length really well. Although that flop he had on Pachulia the other day was disgusting.

I'm going with the Bulls in 7. Yes, certainly age and injuries crippled the Celts, but they haven't been anywhere near the same defensive team since Thib's left. I am sure he will have something cooked up for the Heat. The Bulls have a tendency to play down to their opponents. All year long, they struggled against the lower teams but excelled against the upper echelon teams. I see that happening here in a very exciting series depth will play a big role as the Bulls have active body after active body on the pine to throw multiple looks for the 3 man...errrr I mean 2.5 man gang....Bulls in 7...

When Wade shuts down Rose, it's over.

I see where you're going but look at the Heat's defense as well. It will be a tough, hard-fought series with lots of elbows flying and tempers around.

No offense, but those are all bulls homer and not one you would relied on actual performance.

what performance? regular season performance or playoff performance?

you act like heat beat the best teams in the east and the bulls just beat awful teams.. IMO, they both have been performing impressively in the playoffs..

yeah everyone who picks heat base it on performance and anyone who picks the bulls is a homer

I wouldn't say the Bulls have been impressive in the playoffs. They have struggled against Atlanta and Indiana.

you're right they struggled against indiana because they lost a game

by your logic then the heat struggled against miami and boston as well

The Bulls may not have been impressive overall in these playoffs, but they've been more than that in their clinching games. A 27-point win and a 20-point win in the clinchers must not be impressive enough, I suppose.

I don't think Chicago's found their top gear yet, but they better find one in a hurry, especially going up against a Heat team that has all the momentum.
