I'd love to see Elston Turner as our next coach! Not only has he paid his dues under some really good coaches but Les could sign him for a lot cheaper than another big-name coach. Personally, I don't see anyone from the poll list that could do a better job with the talent o hand. And for all those wanting to bring back JVG, think again. He had his chance and there's not a chance in hell that Les brings him back. And there's no reason to do this anyways. JVG had two superstars on the roster and couldn't get us past the first round of the playoffs. Do you guys REALLY think he could do better with the current roster? If so please state our case. The bottom line is, the Rockets didn't need another coach. This was a dumb move on Les' part. What the Rockets NEED is MORE TALENT.

Larry Brown and Sloan are clearly the best 2 coaches out there. Why do folks keep saying Sloan hates young players? D-Will, Miles, Milsap, AK-47, Okur, Price, Wesley Matthews...he played all those guys when the Stockton/Malone era ended...and only had one losing season.
I want a young, inexperienced coach like stevens or even one of adelman's..... One that we know that could be a great coach in the future. ... I want to suck this next year, but have a great coach in place by the time we are ready to contend.

Funny how at mid-season everyone was calling for Adelman's here but now all of a sudden y'all are appauled and outraged by the fact that he's not returning. Flip floppin selves, worse than flap jacks.
