It's a 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado, I have had several people interested in the car. It's got like 115k and people have told me this is the kind of car people put elbows on, like they do with a Riviera.

For a car like this where I have had several personal offers but wasn't interested at the time; what would be the best way to sell the car? Should I put it in Greensheet or a for sale sign good enough, or could I get some trade in value when I go to buy another car?

I've been looking for 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado -- how much are you asking?

Kind of like "lay hands on", but for vehicles...

Put elbows on and spread your ass cheeks if you spend more than $1k.

a 92 Toronado may have been a fancy car back in the 90s, but its just a old junker at this point.

If you get much more than 750 on a trade in, you will make up for it in the cost of a new car.

The only reason why I figger you can get that much on a trade in is because a few years back a dealership gave me 500 for a car of that vintage that didnt even run.

If its in fairly good condition, you should probably expect to get 1K or so off it private seller style.

I am starting in the $2,000 to $1,500 range, and it has had a transmission problem. It takes a while for it to get into 2nd gear when it's cold but after warming up it runs fine. I was able to drive it from Gonzales to Houston this past weekend. Considering the amount of time I have to work with I may have to go lower.

A transmission problem? You'll be lucky to get $500.
