Not to be insulting but this comment alone shows how little you know about basketball and even less about the rockets offensive system.

The rockets are in the top 5 in team assists in the ENTIRE NBA. This is because of adlemans offense. Chris Paul would have significantly fewer assists playing for adleman because of the plays he runs.

Such as: Lowry (1) pass to 3 (bud) post pass to hayes (5) Hayes catches bud with a backdoor pass. To finish a 1, 3, 5, 3 pass play. These types of plays dominate the rockets offense and the assists are sorted out amongst the entire time.

Teams like suns and hornets put the ball in the PG hands tell them to break down the d and pass off to the open man. A 1 , 3 play. Thus creating direct assists totals for the player.

Almost all of lowrys personal assists come from fast breaks or 2nd chance opportunities from offensive rebounds. So that limits the pool he has for his assists totals.

Better stat ( WHICH MOREY USES ) is pass leading to points total. This would include a 1,3,5,3 pass play like I spoke of earlier…

If we had that information youd probably be shocked at the effect lowry has on the game.
