When will Yao Mings Playing Status for Thurs. be confirmed?

    Good question.

    Ming is practicing and that is great, but I thought that he had to "pass his NBA rookie physical" before he could play in a game. Is this true? I also thought I read in the chonicle that he might not have the final results of the physical until Friday. Would that mean that he won't be able to play in the last two preseason games? I don't want to start any rumors or anything. Just trying to get the "facts" of the situation.

    Can anyone with the facts post what Yao Ming's game status is?

    Assistant coach Mike Wells was on 610 last night before Jeff and he said Ming would most likely play during one of the upcoming preseason games. Not 100% confirmation but he sounded pretty sure that it would happen.

    Very cool. Thanks for the update. I think it would be great to get his feet wet in the NBA in a Pre-season game so he can get at least a bit used to the style of the NBA before going out there and testing the waters in a regular season game.

    Just buy your tickets and go support the rockets (with or with out Ming).

    I know I did... well I didn't actually buy them they were given to me... but I'm going to support the team. :D
