My prediction is based on improving our draft position, so...

    Houston gets:
    Trade Exception
    2011 First Round Pick (Cavs)

    Cleveland gets:
    Kevin Martin
    2011 First Round Pick (Rockets)

Rockets move on with Lee as their starter, and have a trade exception to be used for another player or two. Also, they inherit a pick that could end up in the Top 5. Cleveland gets a scorer in Martin in addition to what will probably be a late lottery pick.

It's bold, but what the hell.

Don't see why the Cavs would give up a potential #1 lottery pick for Martin. They don't want to have to pay that salary.

I don't seen Cleveland going through all this misery just to trade there pick for Martin.

It's not often that someone proposes a horrible trade idea that's just plain awful for both teams. I wish there was an appropriate .gif for this situation, but anyway, cheers mate! Way to achieve the impossible!

Thats a good trade for Houston, but no reason for Cleveland to do it.

Posted this in the other trade but this is what I see going down:

    Three trades:

#1 Hill, Battier, Bud for Nene

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeM...tradeId=4aawzj7

#2 Lee, Jeffries for Mayo and Thabeet

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeM...tradeId=47f2ffa

#3 Yao and AB for Wallace and SJax

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeM...tradeId=23r6836

    Basically looks like this:

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeM...tradeId=62pw2je

    Lowry/Ish
    Martin/Sjax
    Wallace/Mayo/Twill
    Scola/Ppat
    Nene/Thabeet/Miller

By the time the Melo trade goes down, IF it goes down, there won't be time for the Rockets to engineer a trade. Carmelo by himself has killed off the this mid-season's trading for the NBA. It will turn out that the Melo domino is the double blank.

Just letting everyone know, since Rudy Gay in injured, they will keep Mayo on, as they need to keep winning to make the playoffs.

AB and Scola will be Hawks and Josh Smith will be a Rocket. Lee and Battier will be Grizzlies and Mayo and Thabeet will be Rockets. CBud Hill and Jefferies will be Nuggets and Nene will be a Rocket and we will also get a first round pick from the Nuggets that they get from New Jersey in the Melo deal.
