    I knew them all except:

    10. Amigo-- never heard it before, but it is now predictable
    15. Bouncey Whales-- never heard it before....
    17. Alien Nation-- never heard it before. how?
    19. Billy-- would have recognized V-Span which is the better nick
    37. Ice Cream Man-- never heard this either. how?

    Good list.

    How about these:

    "The Big O"
    "Bobby Joe"
    "Big Z"

Awesome, I forgot about those. Hope you guys don't mind that I updated the now gigantic list. Will be fun for others to try.
I like Billy because it has nothing to do with his name, and picturing Jeff Van Gundy saying it makes me Lol... :)

Everyone had a lot of fun with that nick at the time, courtesy of Van Gundier (who's still here, of course, operating under a "new" moniker). I called him The Outlaw Bouncey Whales in the original thread. That's a ClutchFans nickname classic!

It's interesting to try and determine which of these nicks came from Calvin, Bill or Gene/Jim.

I'm on the East Coast so I don't get to see many games.... none now that ATDHE.net is gone...

On a side note, After Burner might be Andre Barrett but Levell was lightning quick and deserves a nickname!

Am I the only one that doesn't consider VSpan or TMac nicknames?

If anything they're some sort of shorthand mashup name... I don't think such unimaginative things count as nicknames. Things like Mo instead of Maurice are 'nicknames' in the way Bob is a nickname for Robert. But it's bland. No character.

In 2020, someone will make this thread:

    Former NBA Player Nickname Quiz:
    TMac
    VSpan
    DRose
    TWill
    JWill
    DWill
    CPaul
    DWade
    KB24
    AI
    AI2
    KG
    MJ

Man, that will be cool.... :(
