    I think the pic is great but personally I'm not that bothered if Jimmy Wales wants to make some money off of Wikipedia.

    What I don't get is why kids insist on putting wikipedia as a source of reference for their paper. It makes them look stupid.

    It seems these personal appeals are up there for months till the money is raised, then they're gone for a week or two and then they're back asking for more and more millions each time. Hard to take that seriously.

    Our district actually outlawed the referencing of Wikipedia.
    They even prevented you from accessing the website before, but it seems they dropped that now.

    Why all of a sudden is Wikipedia asking for this money?

    It is being funneled to support its sister site's anti-American, terrorist agenda, if you ask me.
