'11-Day Virus' making the rounds in Houston

    Feel like you’re getting the flu? It might be the "11-Day Virus."

    The virus, which is making the rounds in cities like Houston and Austin, makes people sick for almost two weeks.

    Symptoms include a dry cough, sore throat, high fever, runny nose and fatigue.

    Doctors say flu shots won’t protect you from the virus, and antibiotics don’t help.

    The only remedies are over-the-counter medicines and plenty of rest.

    Yup. I got this nasty thing. I'm just now getting over it and I started getting sick 11/19!!! :eek:

    I got something similar a month back. Still have a cough every now and then. Dry cough.

    I had that **** a month ago. I hadn't been that sick in years. Would cough through tthe entire night.

    Ing I lol'ed so hard during class. It's funny because we were talking about it's origins so we are looking at a picture of a monkey. I should show my professor .
