    If heroin is the main objection you have to Yoko, you have to understand that heroin was somewhat a recreational drug to kids then. They didn't really know it helped eradicate us from Beatniks (which wasn't so bad by itself). At that time, we didn't know it would become a gateway drug to quitting the Beatles and writing Imagine.

    btw: so Silly Love Songs was a dig at John, right? Like, "Oh yeah John, you're wrong about love songs. You just watch me write a silly song about love that goes to the top of the charts, and as extra proof, I'm going to name it 'Silly Love Songs'." And what's wrong with that; I need to know, because here I go, AGAIN!

    Followed by a Refrain that truly must have got John's goat.

    We are talking about crap I looked up in a matter of 3-6 minutes vs. books I read about this back in the 80's. Sorry I don't have the specifics, and you can say Cynthia and Paul had ulterior motives, but I believe a hell of a lot more out of those two than I do Yoko and John/post LSD, especially from a biography by another admitted stalker.

    Lennon loved them.

    fatty, I know the Beatles. Youngest son of eight. They were totally overplayed in my household. I'm got pretty bored of reading everything I could about them...and switched to Zappa.
