I listened to the first 10 "tracks" yesterday at the gym its not bad but like with all his stuff probably will take a few listens through to get used to the different cuts and all.


hopefully the servers arent nearly as hammered as they were yesterday for people

 

yeah i had to get the cut up tracks off a mirror yesterday afternoon

i really wanted the uncut track so i can burn that to a cd to listen to in my car

I got the long seamless track and the 12 different tracks

 

He had a show at warehouse in 2008 that ended up being free. I think it was because livenation postponed it or something.

 

If by "they" you mean Greg Gillis, his headband and his Macbook. Then yes, "they" will be visiting the House of Blues on January 13th.

The only concert I've ever walked out early on has been Girl Talk (out of the 300 or so concerts I've been to). Gillis got on stage I think at Engine Room a few years back, all the kids ran up and started dancing on stage. This continued for for about another hour and then I finally got sick of it and ended up walking out mid way through the show.

A good mashup artist is The Hood Internet. Check out those guys if you want quality indie rock/rap mashups.

Saw him at Free Press Summer Fest this year and its a lot of fun. Been seriously considering the House of Blues show in January, specially considering I found out it fell in perfectly with my schedule

 

You are from Chicago, right? Those guys are from there and play alot of local shows I've heard.

 

They were in Houston sometime in the summer. Half the set sucked, it was some techno crap full of bells whistles in crescendos. Then they went to their known stuff, but 30 minutes of absolute trash to kick it off.
