Do you take that shot from Warren Sapp? You know he's going to score, you know the games over, and you know you are the star Qb. You've thrown 4 int and cost your team the game. So you feel pretty guilty and might want to take one for the team to show your heart. But What do you do? You are about to get reamed for no good reason at all and your season could be over if you take the hit. Literally blowing the season and pissing your coach off. What would you have done?
Get Randy Moss to be his reciever. Put him opposite Issac Bruce. Now this is only if the Rams are desperate.
Bah. It's football and it's a contact sport. If you are worried about getting hit, then you shouldn't be out there playing. Don't you think that getting hit from the blind side as you are fixing to pass is as bad or worse than getting flattened by someone when you can see it coming?? (That was a great hit by Sapp, BTW)
I remember a play in the Super Bowl where Warner could have dived for a TD, but instead he slid not to get hit. I don't remember the specifics but he should have dived for some reason - clock or something. Everyone screamed p****!!!! I'm glad Warner redeemed himself.
Mike Martz reminds me of Buddy Ryan...does a fine job as a coordinator, but give him full control and he'll screw anything up... Well, Rams fan, it was a nice run while it lasted. Be sure to enjoy your plunge back into mediocrity from whence you came...
