    There is really no easier family trip than Copper Mountain.

    I skied Cooper years ago and like it a lot. IIRC there were a ton of longish blue runs. I don't remember Cooper having much of a ski village though (but that was twenty years ago). Breckenridge certainly does, but from all reports Christmas in Breckenridge is extremely crowded.

    Just so there is no confusion, Copper Mountain and Ski Cooper are not the same place.
