    I have no idea how they did it, but then maybe that's why they're out of business. All I know is I was downloading huge files fast as hell. But you know you're spoiled when you start b****ing about having the speed of a T-1 line. Hehe. :)

    ...it's just that having 2-3 times the speed of a T-1 was so much nicer

    I retested and its only like 0.2 slower.

    I use to have a connection similar to that, I think, but we managed to switch to the one we got now. Not a ton better, but good enough. :D

    519.52Kbps. using RoadRunner cable in Austin. I'm surprised it's that slow. My speed used to always be between 1200 and 1500Kbps. and often much higher. There must be a lot more users out where I live now... it gets slower with more users on your local network (neighborhood) from what I understand. I bet it'll be much faster later tonight.

    does anybody know if its faster if you use ethernet or usb with a cable modem that supports both?
