You know, I'm just curious: does the London Times or Daily Telegraph publish articles in which Bush, or Clinton for that matter, give Tony Blair a tongue bath? If I were a citizen of the UK, I'd be frustrated that my PM is more concerned with playing nice with America than actually leading the UK to prominence.
Tony Blair hasn't been PM since 2007 though. He just released his memoirs, so I'm guessing this is part of the publicity tour connected with that.
Just let the Brits worry about Mr. Blair. Your curiousity almost smacks with hate for anything good about America.
NEGATIVE REP! Seriously, though, even when he was PM, he seemed inordinately fixated on sucking-up to the U.S. Don't get me wrong; I'm glad they're our allies. I guess my attitude is: if you're the PM, your primary focus should be your country.
