Kirilenko would be a great addition to this team........next season with the MLE.

 

its more of an idea than a want. We would basically be trading Battier for Kirilenko which I see as an upgrade. Most people dont like it beacause he plays for the Jazz but I think I could get over that.

this is actually getting pretty funny but nobody has looked at it from a basketball standpoint or had points to show that he would not fit on our team. Everything being said is do not want, he's gay, and he's a crybaby. What if this gay crybaby could help us dethrone the Lakers and win us a championship? I wouldn't mind watching him cry while lifting a championship trophy with a Rocket jersey on.

 

What would it take to pry Xavier Henry from Memphis?

 

He would fit our team great.

However, I do not want to give up significant assets for him, not even expirings. I want to save our expirings, young players, and picks for something better. Now, if nothing else materialized by the trade deadline, I think an Ariza Jeffries or Ariza, Battier deal would be very tantalizing, IF we could get Kirilenko to agree to a reasonable extension with a salary around Ariza's salary.

Thank you! first valid point. I still believe if he gets injured that we have enough weapons where it wont hurt us. It only makes us better if he plays. I don't see Battier doing very much these days except being a presence in the locker room and he is the only rotation player that we would be giving up to get Kirilenko. Yes Battier can still be a pest on defense but he is slowing down. We saw this last year and I am sure he will have lost another step this year.

 

Ban him.
