If there's a fire sale in Phoenix... Possible return to Dallas for Nash? Dampier's contract is fully non-guaranteed.

I wish Jason Terry could be thrown in the deal to get Nash back. JT is a Rocket killer if I've ever seen one. He's the only one on the Mavs where I cringe when they shoot the 3.

Why would the Suns have to buy out Wallace if he wants to retire? Why does he get money for not finishing his contract when he's not retiring because of a basketball related injury?

    dallas had kidd.

if the suns trade nash they are going to want ending contracts, young players, and picks so they can jump start rebuilding. they will probably also want to respect nash and trade him to a playoff team so he has a chance to make them a contender.

orlando is an interesting option, maybe portland.

Because he won't leave money on the table. It's a buy-out/retirement. They don't have to pay, but will get the cranky malcontent Rasheed for their trouble. And have to pay him anyway.

I find it interesting that the same Rasheed Wallace who once claimed that black NBA players were treated like slaves will be taking millions of dollars from an NBA owner when he decides to not honor his contract.
