    its probably gonna have a hefty price tag but would likely be well worth it in the long run.

    i'm all for sacrificing quantity for quality at this point.

    Minnesota is desperate for help on the wing -- I would think either Budinger or Ariza would be included in this deal. And I'd be perfectly okay with that -- Cousins will be a star.

    You're kidding right.

    Erick(a) Dampier was never as hyped or highly coming out of college as Cousins. There is no comparison.

    He was barely a top 10 selection by the Pacers.

    What would DD do if we traded God Bird (Or Larry Bird on God mode, or Chase Budinger) for DeMarcus rhymes with Jamarcus Cousins?

    Detroit will win that bidding war.
    I am not sure what we have on our roster that Minn would want.
    Maybe Martin + one of our SF but that wouldn't be very good value for the Rox.
    So unless there's a third team involved, I don't think we have anything to offer the wolves.

    The more I think about it, the more obvious it becomes that Kevin Martin is going to just be used as a piece to lure a bigger fish.
