I highly doubt it is, if only because something like this always happens every time the Lakers are in the slightest bit of trouble. It's incredible.

They should just use whatever they have in the locker room that "miraculously" cured Pierce two years ago.

Or they are in trouble in the first place because Bynum hasn't been 100%.

There's a difference between bad luck and probability. At this point, having Bynum as a starter on your team is somewhat like having Yao - you know the risk going in.

Refs clearly wants Lakers to win, 5 fouls on Boston already!

When is Bynum ever 100% by this time of the year? He's either hampered by injuries or foul trouble.

    Exactly.
Am I the only one that notices all the moving screens Pau does?

There's also a difference between seeing things as they actually are and seeing things as one wants to see them.

Looks like Artest's breakout game of the year lol...just in time for him to sign another contract and suck it up 99% of the time on another team.

So, what parts of these things weren't extraordinarily lucky over the past two postseasons?

    1) Derek Fisher suspended for Game 3 of HOU series, putting a defender with speed on Brooks and allowing LA to steal the game they needed in Houston.

    2) Yao going down for the series. (Yes, I know that Bynum is hurting right now. But at the least, he's able to play and provide a presence.)

    3) Orlando missing an uncontested layup to win a Finals game.

    4) Orlando neglecting the common sense to simply foul up three in the final 10 seconds

    5) Final seconds of Game 6 against Oklahoma City, down 1, Kobe misses his shot... and Collison and Ibaka each go completely braindead and forget to even try and box out the 7-footer directly at the basket, allowing an uncontested layup.

    6) Final seconds of Game 5 against Phoenix, tie game, Kobe misses so badly that he airballs the shot three feet short, in the area no one would EVER expect a rebound to go and falls directly in the lap of Ron Artest for a layup.

    7) Potentially, with Boston up 3-2 and on the verge of putting LA away, the Celtics lose their best post defender to a severe knee injury on a complete freak accident.

So, what parts of these events are only extraordinarily lucky in my eyes? Tell me how things "actually are", Mr. Objective.
