So how come there's no Fantasy Sports Channel yet?

Seems like a good idea. Everybody plays these days. It's easy to advertise on it. And there seems to be a need for it. You don't even need to hire very many people if you don't want to. Shoot. Seems like a winner.

Why don't you start one, Phi?

Oh wait.. maybe you should just concentrate on winning a league first. :p

I don't know that you could base a whole channel on one...I mean, I haven't even seen a specific show devoted to fantasy sports yet, so I doubt they could fill up a day's worth of programming dealing with fantasy sports.

When does football start... I'm going to knock down that steel door with or without a fantasy channel!

Fade, How much did you pay Pedro to sit? That's what I want to know.

If there is enough Kate&Allie interest to warrant the 'lifetime' network's existence, then there is enough fantasy sports interest to warrant a fantasy channel.

There is a fantasy football show. It's a half hour show, I think it's on Fox. I forget the guy's name who hosts it but James Lofton is on it and Ronnie Lott was on last season.

It was a show in the 80's about two women (Jane Curtain and Susan St. James) sharing a house. Here is a description of the show I found,

Kate and Allie were two divorcees who had been
friends since high school. In an effort to save
money and provide mutual emotional support, they
decided to share an apartment in New York's Greenwich
Village. Of course, there were problems. Between
them they had three young children who caused a
certain amount of turmoil, and Kate and Allie
    themselves had decidedly different life-styles.
Kate was glamorous, contemporary, and a bit frivolous,
while Allie was old-fashioned, proper, and industrious
to a fault. Stories revolved around the problems of
adjusting to communal life, raising children in the
city, and Allie's rocky love life. She had never
dated much, and now more than ever needed the
help of her more worldly friend.

Lifetime is in love with the show.

There is a fantasy sports segment on NBA 2Night(I think), but still I don't see there being enough material to base a whole channel on.
