    Poll fail.

I can't say which team would be better but I'd take Rose/James over Westbrook/Durant.

Double check the team names listed in the poll.

So we are assuming that all other personnel remains constant... okay. I don't think that is possible financially but for the sake of your hypothetical, we'll make that assumption.

In that case, I'd have to go with the Bulls. They have nice compliment of players if all else stays the same. You have some quality bigs. You can bring Deng off the bench in a Manu type role along with Hinrich. You have a promising young James Johnson to add depth.

That Hollinger article pointed to Rose being a bad fit with LeBron in the halfcourt setting because they both want the ball in their hands and neither are great outside shooters.

Still, I have to think that they'd find a way to make it work. They'd be a couple of super athletic, slashing, foul-drawing beasts and they'd be lethal in the open court.

I somehow don´t like it cause of Rose' poor shooting. Bron is a playmaker, drives to the hoop, dishes it to an open Rose who....drives again cause he can´t knock the shot down?

Yea but 2 people that demand the ball and drive heavily can´t co-exist in my opinion.

this is what I am thinking, although they can probably co-exst, but not as well as durant /westbrook since durant can stretch the D for the outside J more consistently then lebron.

The Bulls are a mess of an organization. They were stupid to hire Vinny. Their duo would be better but I have to wait and see who they hire as coach and what offseason moves they make. I respect the Thunder and expect them to be better next season, how much better is an open question. The Bulls are exactly the kind of organization that could mess up a LeBron/Rose pairing.

BTW, if I could choose a team for LeBron, it would be the Bulls. I want the Bulls to get LeBron or Wade very badly, but neither will happen.

I'll add this... if Rose and LeBron did somehow end up together, it would be awesome to watch a Bulls vs Thunder finals at some point.

Westbrook/Durant + the rest of the Thunder

    vs

Rose/James + the rest of the Bulls

Of course I want the Rockets to be in the finals but this would be a nice alternative if that didn't happen. What a fascinating matchup of elite PGs and elite wings. On top of the skill sets of all the players, Rose and Westbrook are both built like linebackers while LeBron and KD are both physical freaks in their own ways. Again, I'm a Rockets fan first but this would be an awesome matchup.

Not going to happen. LeBron ain't going to Chicago.

And the Rockets will be better than the Thunder next year.
