I've heard the usual rumors. Depp as The Riddler. I've also read that Cher could play a retired Cat Woman.

 

The question for me is......



....will there be plastic nipples?

 

Villain = Robin. Batman has to stop him from turning Gotham City into his nest.

I think they will go with The Riddler. I personally would like to see Nolan go The Penguin as long as that character was really developed (I.E. I thought the Danny Devito portrayal and story was overall solid)

What about Crispin Glover for The Riddler?

 

Sweet. Can't wait for this. I hope that Gary Oldman returns as well.

 

They are making a Xmen reboot and X men 4 at the same time which is weird.

 

I heard Tyrone Hill is playing Clayface.

 

i want Nolan to finish the vision (whatever it was) of the Batman as he intended, as if Ledger were still alive. I think it would be a great tribute to Ledger even if someone else has to play the Joker.

With Johnny Depp's personality I know he could pull that off, but was this a joke.

 

I think it's all speculation. I've heard that rumor in a number of spots, but seeing how the project has only now been greenlit, I would take all of that with a truckload of salt.

Personally, I would love to see Depp tackle the Riddler. I think he'd do a great job, and I always loved the Riddler episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. I don't know if Nolan could work that character into his trilogy, but I'd love to see it.

I also think Cher could make a fantastic retired Cat Woman.

I'm mighty intrigued to see who they actually roll with.
