Last weekend at a birthday/pool party at my girlfriend's dad's house, I was ambushed on my way back from my car with (what I thought to be) a pretty neat little watergun that I picked up at Wal-Mart. As I opened the gate to the backyard, I saw a few people kind of staring at me silently, and I just knew something bad was going to happen...

Bam! From the right side, like a bat out of hell comes her dad with what appeared to be a really massive water CANNON. Needless to say, the right side of me was drenched before I was able to go change into my bathing suit.

So, as someone who's not much of a water-gun conneseur, I ask: What are my options in a high-end gun? I'd like something mobile (not tethered to a hose) yet able to pump out some serious waterage. Batteries, hand-crank, nuclear...I don't care. Money's not an issue, and I need something powerful. I welcome all suggestions and rH-style pictures.

I have to get it right on the first shot though, because he's an ex-fireman... :D

Maybe something like this in a hand held model...

Have you considered hiding out with a bucket? That is usually pretty effective. :D

Yep...that's Michael Richards....in the film UHF, i believe. A goofy Weird Al movie that's pretty funny in random ways.

    "YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOO STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID!!!"

go to Toys 'R Us... I was involved in a preplanned water gun battle back in college. I went to Toys 'R Us and plunked down $50 on a "super duper soak you so hard yo' momma is crying for mercy water cannon"

needless to say, i won. :D

(i guess i should have read your post in my first response, rather than just looking at the picture and responding! ;) )
