    Hey y'all,

    I'm selling my TV. It's a Samsung 50" Plasma. I've only had it since January; it's pretty much as new as it gets. I'm selling it for no reason other than that things in my life have changed. I am not hard up for cash. I didn't miss any car payments. But I'm selling my TV and Xbox (sans HDD -- I'm keeping that).
    This is really just for my TV, but I'm thinking around $230 for the Xbox, 2 controllers, and the charger. I haven't done enough research to see if that's reasonable.

    Anyway, brand new TV w/ a 3-Year Warranty. How 'bout that awesomeness. It's even got RED on the bottom. You can be all like, "GO ROCKETS!" on your TV.

    I'm looking for around $975. That's for the TV and the 3-year warranty.

    Alright, y'all, while amusing...

    I'm just really not interested in owning a TV or video game console right now. And as far as the iPad, while I will eventually get one, I won't until they're on the EPP store.

    I'm not haggling on the price of $700. That's ridiculous, and you know it.

    $700 seems about right to me. The Samsung 720p plasma NEW on Black Friday was like $599.

    I thought it was a fair price considering its used. I looked it up this morning, and it was $847 at Conns.

    used is a lot less than that.

    Why would someone pay close to retail when they can just go buy a new one for a little more and not worry about its history

    Something I totally understand. And if they want to, they can. I'm not forcing anyone to buy it, and I'm not in a position where I have to sell. If someone wants to get a a bunch of money off (I paid $1100 because I found some deal online that got me $300 off. Amazon has it listed at $1,257 new, $940 used w/out warranty) an almost-new TV AND get a 3-year warranty with it, they can. But if I don't get what I would consider a decent offer, I won't sell it.

    But offering me $700 and then telling me I'm the one being ridiculous (in so many words) is just insulting.
