Big Ben can rape 20 more hookers but Santonio starts behaving like a black man and "oh better get rid of the thug"

Blatant racism by the Nazi Rooney, who is the reason why black men in the NFL have a right to be interviewed for head coaching positions.

Which makes this move weirder don't you think? Do the Steelers really think that Hines Ward can continue to be a #1?

A 5th round pick? Isn't that awfully cheap for Holmes? Seems like a bizarre trade.

My thoughts exactly. The dude has off the field problems, and has been a headache at times for the organization...but 5th round? Crazy.

There must be other issues with Holmes that are not publicly known. He's probably more radioactive to the Steelers than we think.

I think Holmes could potentially face a 4 game suspension for substance abuse. Maybe he likes to get high too much

The Steelers will get destroyed over this trade tomorrow. I understand why they did it but it just LOOKS bad with all the Ben stuff happening. Right or wrong they will have some explaining to do.

And as if the Jets needed to get any better.

At least send him to the NFC...

Holmes will most likely be serving a 4 game suspension and with Goddell you know one more slip up he's looking at a year long ban.

Wouldn't the first time the Steelers jettisoned a talented young receiver from the Big Ten to The Big Apple and came out smelling like roses anyway.

I only like this trade if they trading away Roethlisberger somewhere as well. (Yes, it is a bad deal, but they're obviously just jettisoning a moral problem.)

Without also doing something about Roethlisberger, they come off as racist. :(

Reed is different... the Rooney's are Irish. They have no problem with drunken behavior.

YES, PUN INTENDED! AND YES, RACIST POST, MY BAD! (OH GOD, AND CAPSLOCK IS ON.)

Just a tad over a year after he won the Super Bowl for them. Steeler fans are going to be pissed. It's time for Limas to step up his game.
