    There were a few, I think. And some that thought we were stupid for not franchising and then trading him (risking paying him $12 mil if we didn't trade him).

    Awesome! Glad they could make DeMeco happy and can't wait to see him in uniform for the next six seasons.

    Seems like a really good deal for the Texans as well, as they not only get to keep a young stud LB, but at a pretty good rate to boot. For comparison, Karlos Dansby got 5 years, 43 million (22 guaranteed) from the Dolphins while Terrell Suggs got 6 years, 62 million (38 guaranteed) from the Ravens this same offseason.
