Can anyone tell me about new Lakers draftee, Kareem Rush? Is he the next piece of puzzle to the Lakers Dynasty or part of the future?

Lets just say that it used to be if Kobe was injured the Lakers would probably win, where as now if Kobe is injured they're still almost sure to win.

Dude, just admit that you came up with the thread title and had to throw together a post just to use it. ;)

He'll corrupt the Lakers and send them into a tailspin, ending their 3-year dynasty.

    :D

Just when you thought you've heard every possible senario about the Lakers being knocked off their throne....................

Kareem needs bring his ball handling and his defense up NBA par, but the dude can flat-out shoot. With the way the Lakers suck in the defense, a good perimeter scorer should be able to thrive with us. In the past it's been Glen Rice and DFish but we had no real outside threat when we needed it last year(Fish didn't have a 2001 playoff performance this year). Hopefully Rush can do that for the Lakers. We'll see if he Phil will put Kobe and Rush on the floor together but in any case he should get minutes considering he's our only true SG back-up for Kobe.

Unless he can be a rookie playoff killer like Sam Cassell which he won't be, he'll miss all the wide open shots in the playoffs and send the Lakers down the toilet. :p
