We could use a guy with his skill set, but preferably one with a brain.

The guy's only 30 years old. You'd think he was the same as age Jerry Stackhouse or something

why the hostility to ricky davis? did he ran over your dogs or something?

anyways, ricky davis looked pretty good before. just didnt have enough playing time with the clippers i assume. celtics could use him. he used to play with garnett and pierce before right?

Waiving Ricky Davis is the smartest thing the Clippers have ever done. The dumbest thing the Clippers have ever done is signing Ricky Davis.

Remember when the Cavs brought in LeBron to help him?

This is pretty much the typical Ricky Davis.

    [rquoter]
The Cavaliers re-signed Davis on August 21, 2002 to a six year contract. Davis' time with Cleveland was marked by disputes with then head coach Paul Silas and he quickly grew a reputation as a selfish showboater. A prime example occurred on March 16, 2003. In the closing seconds of a game against Utah, Davis was one rebound short of his first career triple-double. In an effort to record that rebound, Davis deliberately missed a shot at his team's own basket. Afterwards, he was fouled by Utah's DeShawn Stevenson in retaliation for his perceived unsportsmanlike behavior, and was later fined by his own team

    [/rquoter]

He is pretty much the prototypical case proving that you can be a very talented and effective scorer and at the same time be a major liability to the same team.

Pair him up with Shane and you'll have a perfectly tangible pair.

It's no joke. Ricky really thought Lebron would be his sidekick.
