    Watching Disney channel with the kids for a little bit yesterday, and there was this music video scene commercial with Selena Gomez, and I happened to blurt out .."O' she's cute" without bad intentions I might add when the wife walked by and immediately stopped and gave me that look. Suddenly, I felt awkward...Please everyone tell me I did nothing wrong... :)

    It's all about volume.

    Very low volume "o she's cute" = bad
    Very high volume "O SHE'S CUTE!" = bad

    normal indoor speaking voice = okay, but risky

    The only reason she has a career is on the basis of her cuteness, so she shouldn't give you too much crap. Plus she'll be 18 pretty soon.

    Had a similar experience when watching Natalie Portman in The Professional. We are the same age so when I first saw the movie, finding her attractive was acceptable. Not so much now.
