    gideon, earl thomas and Muckelroy will SHUT down bamas offensive game, there qb had a career game against florida, that wont happen again.


    Now the key player of the game is.....

    Malcolm Williams , if this guy STEP up and relieve pressure off shipley, we will win this game.

    I think the bigger 3 guys on defense for Texas will be Lamarr Houston, Sergio Kindle, and Sam Acho. Getting to McElroy and pressuring him/sacking him while also covering the running game will be the biggest threat more than those other guys that you listed, though they will need to come up big also. I also agree on Malcolm Williams and Kirkendoll will need to step up in order to relieve some pressure off of Shipley. I also think we need a little production out of either whittaker/mcgee or newton... though it'll be tough against Saban's D.

    Only guy im worried about is Acho , ehh hes too inconsistent . Williams can blow past by alot of guys , andn i hope whittaker just gives us something.


    But at the end of the day , its Mccoys game to win , if he STEPS up big time n produces for us we'll be golden.

    Seems to me that it's an even bigger margin of people picking Alabama than back in 05 when people were picking USC.... I guess Texas will shock the world then.

    I don't remember hearing this stuff in 2005.

    Sam Acho? Really? It seems like he pretty much plays the same game week in, week out, shows up, does his job, gets a few tackles, including 1 or 2 for losses, cleans up the junk and leads the team in sacks with 9, despite never having had more than 2 in a single game - how's he inconsistent :confused: are you thinking of the LB Acho? If anything Kindle has been more inconsistent with is bizarro disappearing act vs. A&M.

    Yeah woops lol i meant his brother wasnt thinking straight. I hear alot of Bama fans saying kindle is over rated , too bad they just look at stats and not the games themselves

    Hoping for a good game. Rooting for the Horns but am worried about how insufferable you UT fans will be with another national championship to talk about for years and years :p

    But that isn't enough to have me root against our home state. Go Horns!
