    cook is far less than the 6 million of harpring

    though insurance may cover some of harpring's contract if he is out the entire year it may bring the price back down to cook's 3.5 million that OKC actually pays

    giving up maynor though oh wow i am happy to hear this i really like that kid and i like the thunder as well good backup for russell there.



    i have a feeling that cook sadly wont be able to be moved without a high cost

    can mcgrady's contract be moved with taking less salary back in return (but still within the % rule) and get us under the LT?


    high price really maynor is a solid player

    There is no room for Maynor when we draft John Wall with Knicks pick anyway!!!!!

    I expect it to cost us a #1 but is Cook's contract alone enough to get us under the LT - now with the signing of Wafer?

    Plenty of teams may want to shed contracts and/or already be under the salary cap...(cough) Memphis...Cook for TE/min contract and future 2nd rd pick?

    Taht may be the case but it depends on Jaric's buyout. They're around $800k under the salary cap as of now.
