If we got a commitment to resign here for Bosh I would do this is a heartbeat. People seriously underate how good Bosh is. It leaves our roster extemely imbalanced however, but for a chance at Bosh you have to take it.

Lowry/Conroy/Banks
Ariza/Taylor
Battier/Budinger
Bosh/Landry
Yao/Hayes

(If we went with your scenario, I might consider taking Calderon instead of Banks/Evans. Seems like a better balance with Lowry.)

I would couter with Lowry, Scola, Battier and Andersen (or Hayes, but this would hurt ) + 2010 first round pick for Bosh. This would leave us with a killer lineup:

Brooks/Conroy
McGrady/Taylor
Ariza/Battier/Budinger
Bosh/Landry
Yao/Hayes

Thats assuming people can give up the Tmac witch hunt of course.

Interesting if we could gurantee that Bosh would stay here past this year, but a terrible deal otherwise, really.

As for Bosh? I don't even really care about having a "star" on the team. I'll just leave that in Morey and R.A. hands, and just enjoy the season! :grin:

No way I do this deal.

It's too much.

Tracy's contract is like gold, seeing as it's both expiring AND INSURED.

Scola's contract is heap, cheap, cheap....plus he's a helluva player and a winner.

...and aaron could very well play in an All Star game one day.

These guys are pieces to a future title team.

Bosh is talented, but I'm not sure I don't want to see a double headed PF with one player being a long defensive player...athletic...We can spend that dough somewhere else........
