Sorry if this has been discussed before, but with all the T-Mac news, I kind of want some discussion on this topic (even though it probably has been discussed before).

Is Rockets' management gonna take a look at freeing up some capspace for 2010 free agency? Getting Bosh here would be great...

Lebron James+Dwade already stated they were H-Town bound.

They just witnessed the Texans game and said this city needs a savior.

It's gonna probably have to be via trade then.

I get this uneasy feeling that a rival team like Dallas is going to snatch up McGrady next year on the free agent market for pennies on the dollar and proceed to hit the jackpot.

Man I would hate to see him in a Mavericks uniform. But I can see Mark Cuban pulling off that sort of move. And if T-Mac is anything like he was 2 years ago added to that team, the championship will be theirs to lose.

With Nowitzki, Howard, McGrady and Kidd on the perimeter, all they need is a big body on the inside. And they'll have Marion and Terry coming off the bench. The Celtics have already won a championship with a similar formula, and even that team did not have as much talent.

by a big body on the inside, you mean a PF as talented as KG? I mean, they have Ericka Dampier and Gooden, which is their Powe and Perkin I guess, but where's their KG or Gasol? Dirk doesn't bang low or crash the boards as consistently as they do.

Mavericks won't win a title within the Next Decade.

They've proven that even with a team that wins 65+ games they aren't capable of playing consistently well in the playoffs.

    Their roster is aging quickly

Rebounding? They're currently 7th in the league in rebounding with Dirk as their starting power forward. Their defense is ranked 5th in efficiency. Perception != reality. Despite the hate he (deservedly) gets around these parts, Dirk is a better player than most people think -- and he's certainly better than KG has ever been in a Celtics uniform.

Like I said, adding T-Mac to that team would suck big time, and I can see Mark Cuban pulling off that sort of thing. He'd only be to happy to do it.

I disagree. I think that a Bosh pickup would be huge
