You guys should all try this. Expensive but worth it. Brewed in a specially made vessel from rare South American wood.

Here's a good story from this year about the head brewer at Dogfish Head, includes the story of how they made Palo Santo Marron:

Anybody know where I can find some of the Saint Arnold's Divine? I've been all over the place but just can't seem to find it. I went to Spec's a few weeks ago when it first came out and they said people were lined up around the building before they opened and it was gone in half an hour.

I found some at Kroger - but there were not many left and that was ~2 weeks ago.

Get on the mailing list to get advanced warning of the next release.

Had a bottle of this last week and this week, and it is indeed phenomenal. Raison D'Etre used to be my staple beer; this one outdoes all their others, including the 120.

I know a place in Houston that has about a dozen Divines left.

I have to just reaffirm the greatness of the dogfish. Not quite sure it's worth the price, given some really strong west coast breweries for much less, but I'm still glad everytime I try one.

The mirror pond pale ale I got tonight... not so much. :( What happen? Like it got overheated on a truck in the central valley or something.

What are you talking about, North Coast and Lagunitas?

Lagunitas Maximus is what Russell Crowe thought he was.

Am sympathetic to the Anderson Valley brewery and also several in Oregon, including Rogue and Deschutes and even Fullsail.

None of these really touch the dogfish, but in terms of pure beer bliss per dollar... it is sometimes a tossup for me. It should be pretty obvious that I don't have that refined a pallet for beer though.

Rogue's okay, but check out those two I mentioned, especially if you're out west.

Really? Better than the 120? That's a freaking awesome beer. That and Hop Devil by Victory are my faves right now.

I already agree -- love the Lagunitas especially, and it's in "heavy rotation" right now. :)
