    Lingerie football league to kickoff in Houston

    HOLLYWOOD -- Lingerie Football League officials announced plans for an expansion LFL team to begin play in Houston Sept 2010 as part of the second season of the LFL (2010/2011 Season).

    Just 5 weeks of LFL action has drawn strong fan support and television ratings.

    "There is no bigger stage for Friday Night Football then Houston and the state of Texas. When the LFL arrives to Houston in 2010, the term Friday Night Lights will be re-introduced to both hardcore and casual Houston fans in a Mardi-Gras type atmosphere of football meets the Friday night culture of good times with friends," said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman, Lingerie Football League.

    League officials are actively scouting prospective arenas and stadiums throughout the Houston metropolitan area. Houston residents are being asked to submit potential names for their LFL franchise.

    Along with Houston joining the Western Conference, it was announced earlier Wednesday that Orlando will also kickoff play in the Eastern Conference for the 2010/2011 season.

    Currently, LFL teams are in ten major market cities including the Seattle Mist, San Diego Seduction, Los Angeles Temptation, Denver Dream, Dallas Desire, Chicago Bliss, New York Majesty, Tampa Breeze, Miami Caliente and Philadelphia Passion.

    In the long run I figured it would be best if I worked my way up in the league from the bottom. Therefor I've applied to be the guy who washes uniforms and other clothing/equipment.

    They need to make it a requirement that the girls all slap each other on the butts when they make a good play. Everytime I watch volleyball, and I very disappointed when the girls don't do this. Make it happen, LFL.
