Before people ask the inevitable... Gino was drafted in '99. Shard was drafted in '98. The omissions are kinda sketchy though... Mo Williams, Luis Scola, Roger Mason Jr, Ramon Sessions, Carl Landry, Glen Davis...pretty much anyone over Luke Walton.
Uhh is this a serious article or just a random compilation of 2nd rounders playing in the NBA? Walton over Scola? Walton over Landry? Walton of Big Baby? Walton over Brooks? Mo Williams? Ramon Sessions? The Lakers continue getting love even for their scrubs.
I like ariza as much as anyone, but he's not better than david lee. Scola should also be on there in front of walton. How walton gets on the list is beyond me.
Only the top 6 are worthy of note. The rest of them can barely sign for MLE and have shown only complementary assets to a team.
Still, he was picked AFTER Luther Head.... Rockets havent taken a chance at drafting at REAL size and frontcourt help the past few years, not the Badiane, Eliyahu, Novak, Dorsey types... Besides Yao the Rockets havent gotten a PF or C 6-10 and above from the draft since Eddie Griffin. The year before Griffin they drafted Joel Pryzbilla and Najera and traded them both...it ended up in getting Yao but still, whats the darn deal lol. I know big talented front court help doesnt grown on trees but David Lee was exactly what this team needed with Juwan Howard still on the team. Oh well now... Mo Williams and Scola over Walton and Gasol. Utah has Boozer, Okur, Millsap and Kyle Korver all from the 2nd round.
the top 3-4 are decent, the rest is terrible. luke walton? really? i guess rings do matter for these kinds of lists too lol. scola in his 2 years alone is better than walton's career.
