Yao ming's reaction to not attending the draft

    While caught by the reporters outside stadium where Yao Ming is getting him waist muscle treatment, he offered the following opinion:" It's OK not attending the draft as long as I get to play in the NBA, I have to prepair for the Yugoslavia team. They are mostly the same guys from WORLD COLLEGE GAME (when yugos get #!), I need to be ready for them."

    When pressed, Yao ming adds, "off course it's a bit dissapointing. If I have Yao MIng on hand, I would let him go. Think about the possibility of being selected #1, it would be exciting." Yao talked as if he is talking about somebody else.

    LOL! Really! Not just with Stevie, but the NBA and American sporting culture in general! In is a requirement I think to be in US pro-sports that you have to talk about yourself in the third person.

    when crash5179 sees Yoa Ming refer to himself in the third person he understands that Yao will fit in with the NBA just fine.

    Since ive been catching a lot of flack for starting new threads..i went digging in the crates to find this one...

    IF IM not mistaken, China should be asleep during the draft. Does that mean there will be a live satellite feed?

    Or will Houston tell the NBA that they will without doubt draft Yao, so that they can pre tape Yao putting on the Rockets Cap??

    Maybe Yao could turn out to be Bizarro Steve.
