    while the show has jumped the shark its still a lot more entertaining than a lot of the crap thats out there right now


    especially during the summer


    and god everytime Sloan appears on screen

    And there's no way in hell a guy like E (with his p***y character on the show) would ever get a girl like that.

    And Turtle with a gal like Jamie Lynn Sigler? Please. That could never happen. Oh wait...

    For some reason I found that dwarf alien looking chick to be hotter this past episode. Maybe it's the fact that she's horny.

    Turtle, the complete loser, gets 2 cars totaling around $400K together given to him for his birthday?

    Vince, having just gotten his drivers license is able to win a race driving fast cars on a race track?

    Lil Bow Wow sucks as an actor and gets booted off his own show?

    Yet I keep watching.

    its pretty obvious that if someone joins a tv show thread a day after the show aired that the discussion will revolve around the previous night's episode

    if anyone does walk into a thread and reads something that would be a spoiler to them since they hadnt seen the episode thats their own fault.


    it would be different if it was a movie thread

    Surely, Turtle has to sell one of those cars to be able to keep up with insurance payments on the other. Turtle all of a sudden is worried about looking like a freddie freeloader in front of his new girl and the guys. lol

    What I want to know is how is Jamie Lynn able to afford a Porsche as a birthday gift for her boyfriend. Vince has been a successful movie actor and made $10-$20 million (we presume) between "Gatsby" and the Ferrari flick. So it is feasible that he can fork over $216K (with the 10% discount) on a new car. But Jamie Lynn was, for all intents and purposes, a minor character in an ensemble cast on an HBO show - where she was probably paid at scale - since she was not one of the show's stars - and the show could have gone on easily without her (she was not in every episode to begin with).

    I just don't see how she can afford to buy a Porsche as a birthday gift. I don't think she has that kind of money.

    Regardless, I liked this episode. Vince winning the race was not believable after last week, and yes - I too thought the alien-chick was hotter this week for some odd reason (probably the t-shirt and no pants combo that someone referenced earlier). I LOVED Drama's reaction when E said that alien girl broke his coffee maker. "NOW I HATE HER!"

    It is funny that Turtle has had no problem mooching off of Vince for all these years, but now that he has a sexy, successful girlfriend - he feels the pressure to "pull his weight." Girls just get all up in your head, don't they?

    Overall, I am liking the direction of this season - but want more Drama. He's been an ancillary character so far - as the season has focused on E - let's have more Drama storylines - even as a B or C storyline would be fine.
