    This is getting so predictable, it's comical. What's so hard about keeping your snake in your pants for the sake of your career and your family? I just don't understand it. Do guys really need to hump THAT BAD? ....Stupid question.

    He definitely came across as sincerely sorry, but I don't think he realized that all those details about his deep friendship with the woman were going to be like a knife to the heart of his wife. He should have kept that stuff private.

    Now she has proof, though. And being a Governor's wife is probably a nice enough gig to not want to sabotage. And a lot of women still define themselves by their marriage.
