    Ohmygod...China threatened to nuke Los Angeles in 1995. Now we know why Stern wants Ming in New York!

    Some of this politics of Ming is going overboard.

    The misinterpretation of China's quote that led to people reading it as a threat beyond what we do to them is similar to some of the misinterpretation going around about Ming. China is a paternalistic nation that has a long history of slapping its kids (allow me this euphemism), but if you really believe in such things as nuking LA and, worse, pulling Ming out of the playoffs, then take solace in the fact that...

    China will never bomb Houston while we have Ming!!!
