For one thing, it was just a rumor, who knows what actually went down.

Secondly (and more importantly), at the time, the majority of us didn't think it was a very good a deal, either. There's no way Morey could have known what would happen with McGrady.

this is exactly what i was thinking otherwise, we would have been on a better position and compare to Lakers. T-Mac always has mental problem which is a huge negative side to the success.
