I dont know what you are looking at. Yes, the ball was released before the shot clock went off. But the ball didnt touch the rim. It hit the board and the net. It has to hit the rim. It is a GOOD call.....
this is gonna be like the first round last year with the hawks for the celtics. hawks had a chance to win (3-3) but it didn't end too good (game 7: 65-99). i dont think chicago is gonna win another one in boston..so they better get their act together and win all theirs at home.
I watched the last 5 minutes from the gym. Bulls choked. Joakim Noah makes me want to vomit. So does Brad Miller. No way the Bulls should have blown that game being up by 5 with 2 1/2 minutes left. Vinny also needs manage his timeouts better. Celts are still in trouble for the series, but the Bulls are expert at giving games away.
no, i dont think he made it. i think it's just a weird angle. otherwise bulls players would argue the call. they didnt even bother.
I know i'm a little late to the dance here, but yet another great game between these two teams. I still hate the Celtics so part of me was sickened watching the all-too-predictable Ray Allen GW jumper but it was still a privilege to see Gordon, Rondo and company put on a show like that.
What a great game..such an awesome show put on by both Ben Gordon and Ray. Best game of the playoffs so far. I just wish that the Bulls would have gotten the ball to Gordon for that last shot.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4086325 Leon Powe is out of playoffs with torn ACL. Looks like this series will be closer now. (I still think Celtics will pull out of this one)
can't say it's unexpected, though. That's why he fell so far in the draft...huge questions about his durability after the issues in college
It's particularly tough because KG is already out. If KG were playing, they wouldn't miss Powe with Big Baby playing so well (so far). The pressure will really be on him to continue producing.
