You're not serious are U? Drexler was coming fully healthy. Tmac is coming off of freakin microfracture surgery and will take about 3 months to get back right.

T-Mac will be a Rocket next season if we don't make the second round.

He will not join us if we go past the first rounf without him.

    I think it's that simple.

I definitely want him back in either case. I think he would be a good starter. Not great, but good. He will always be able to put up 7 assists, 7 rebounds and 10 points. That's decent IMO.

Deep down inside, I'm rooting for an awesome comeback from him because the guy is awesome. Í would love for him to join around the All Star break, come off the bench, and gradually improve till snatching the starting SF position during the playoffs.

Ask Iverson about coming off the bench.. and that guy was healthier than Tmac.

I rather we hold on to his expiring contract and see if we can sign Joe Johnson for about 15-17 mil after re-signing Artest and Wafer next year and Yao in 2010.

First round, second round, I don't think it will impact his coming back. He will be a Rocket at least until the trading deadline, IMHO.

As for his coming back next year, everything I have heard is that there is probably only a 10% to 15% chance he will even play again, much less play at an NBA starters level.

Not that I don't wish him the best, I do, but I just don't see the odds in his favor.

No but anyone without blinders on can see what Avery said could be the truth. The Rockets haven't exactly hidden the fact they will try to trade T-Mac and anyone who is coming to end of a big contract and hasn't been able to stay healthy for many years in a row could be contemplating retirement.

Depending on Tracys health and attitude, this is very possible.

Like I have said before, The Rockets now have the upperhand when dealing with Tracy. Tracy does not have our organization by the balls anymore.

Very interesting bit of information on both accounts. The first isn't particularly surprising as a lot of fans know, but the second sorta is with adelman potentially gone after this season.

T-Mac's situation isn't even close to mirroring Bob Sura's. Sura was completely washed up. McGrady is rehabbing from arthro.
